Press Conference: Companies to Display Visible Progress in Meeting Advanced Biofuels Goals

Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO):

     
WHAT:   The Renewable Fuel Standard sets national goals for production and use of advanced biofuels. Since introduction of the RFS, U.S. companies have worked to rapidly scale up advanced biofuel technology – through pilot and demonstration projects – and a number are now constructing and commissioning commercial-scale biorefineries. These companies will present progress reports and discuss economic impacts.
