Port of Portland to Implement Environmental Data Management System From ESP

Mountain View, California, Dec. 16 - /EWire/ -- ESP (Environmental Software Providers) announced today that the Port of Portland has selected its opsEnvironmental software to serve as the backbone of a comprehensive environmental management program covering air, water, and waste. opsEnvironmental is a multi-media software suite whose web-based tools help simplify and streamline environmental data tracking and reporting. Port of Portland will implement the software in all of its airports –including Portland International Airport- as well as throughout all of its marine terminal facilities.

The software will be used by the Port of Portland to manage regulatory requirements and also to help the Port meet internal environmental standards and uphold its commitment to environmental excellence.

David Cox, Vice President of Sales at ESP, said "We were pleased to have our software selected by Port of Portland. Since their operations comprise both airports and marine terminals, they have a varied set of requirements to meet. By implementing opsEnvironmental, the Port will be able to streamline environmental and compliance management across all of their sites. It's a great solution for them: air, water, and waste management, all in a single, easy-to-use package, accessible from any web browser anywhere."

opsEnvironmental's multi-media compliance management tools are used in a variety of industries to manage environmental data from the facility level to the enterprise level. The software helps companies track and report on air, water and waste emissions. Its open architecture allows integration with other maintenance management and enterprise resource management software packages, and its enterprise design makes it ideal for organizations such as the Port of Portland, with multiple facilities and a breadth of environmental requirements.

I am really lazy about csaitng on, so I use the backward loop method any time I think I can get away with it (without being messy or affecting gauge). Otherwise, the long-tail cast on, or sometimes the knitted cast on where you knit a stitch between the last two on the needle. If I'm making socks from a pattern I do whatever they recommend, because it's almost certainly more stretchy than my default choices.
