Design and construction markets related to
environment, infrastructure, and facilities chalked up another growth year in 2008, in spite of deteriorating market conditions during the second half of the year. Most of these markets will not grow in 2009, according to the 21st annual State-of-the-Industry Report delivered by management consultants Farkas Berkowitz & Company to an invitation-only conference of CEOs from leading design and construction firms.
A new report released today by the Water Design-Build Council, a not-for-profit organization representing the leading design-builders of municipal water and wastewater systems, highlights the growth of the design-build method of project delivery for the nation's water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
