In the week after President Bush's visit to a nuclear
power plant, a major new national opinion survey will show that nuclear power is far less popular among Americans (including conservative voters) than the renewable energy alternatives of wind power and solar energy. The survey also will show strong bipartisan skepticism about the costs and delays associated with a major build-up of nuclear power plant operations in the United States.

engineering market expanded 10.5 percent last year, its highest growth rate in six years. All major market segments enjoyed solid growth in 2005. Transportation engineers saw their market climb to $8.8 billion and register a growth rate of 12 percent. The power engineering market rebounded smartly with a 15 percent rate of growth. That engineering market in the U.S. now totals $2.5 billion. Water quality engineering slowed from its recent years of double-digit growth to a still-healthy nine percent rate. This market grew to $5.3 billion in 2005.

in obtaining visas for entry into the country, two groups of AIA travelers successfully visited several cities and ancient sites in Libya this April. AIA Tours' groups have had consistent success gaining entry to Libya, and to date AIA Tours has had 148 participants visit on six separate occasions since the US travel ban was lifted.
