Visteon Corporation (NYSE: VC) today announced that the company's Altec facility has been recognized by Honda Corporation for its environmental efforts with the Honda Environmental Recognition Award.

Honda grants Environmental Recognition Awards to those suppliers who exhibit an extraordinary contribution to environmental improvement and preservation.

Altec was recognized by Honda for achieving ISO 14001 recertification, for its efforts in preventing pollution, and for the preservation of natural resources while manufacturing products.
