Bell Canada joins The EXCEL Partnership |

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Sep. 4 -/E-Wire/-- The EXCEL Partnership, Canada's Business and Sustainability Partnership – an initiative of the GLOBE Foundation of Canada - is pleased to welcome Bell Canada as its newest member.

Bell Canada also subscribes to the United Nations' Global Compact. Bell's 2007 Corporate Responsibility report was recently released which highlights many of their sustainability issues, strategies and successes.

Members in EXCEL learn from each other through Roundtables and monthly management briefs how to further their corporate performance on environment and social issues."Marc Duchesne, Director of Corporate Responsibility and Environment at Bell and leader of the team responsible for Bell's sustainability strategy, will be the company's lead representative in EXCEL.
