EMLAB P&K INCREASES ANALYTICAL CAPACITY DURING FLOODING IN MIDWEST |

NAPERVILLE, ILLINOIS, Jun. 26 -/E-Wire/--
In an effort to be responsive to the increased demand for mold testing due to the extensive flooding in the Midwest, EMLab P&K, the nation's leading environmental testing laboratory, has taken steps to increase local and overall capacity, including weekend and emergency staffing. EMLab P&K will maintain a strong presence in the region with 7 drop off locations within the states most affected by this disaster. Flooding is continuing to work its way down the Midwest region, with further destruction predicted in coming days. The current estimated damage is at $10-12 billion, which includes not only property loses from flooded areas, but also from adjacent areas as well due to lost revenue in conjunction with this flooding. As property owners return to their homes that may appear to be irreparable, it becomes clear that some may still be salvaged by remediation. Along with the worry of losing personal possessions, property owners have to deal with the possibility of bacteria, mold growth, sewage contamination and other environmental health concerns caused by water damage.
