Bald Eaglet Triplets: Three Chirps For America!
PIGEON FORGE, TENNESSEE, May. 12 -/E-Wire/-- Three newly hatched sibling Bald Eaglets snuggle close together on a cool spring day at the Dollywood family entertainment park's "Eagle Mountain Sanctuary" aviary operated by the non-profit American Eagle Foundation (www.eagles.org, ).

Only a few days old, the healthy chicks were recently discovered in the nest of their non-releasable eagle parents.

"We haven't decided on names for these little American Idols," said AEF president Al Cecere, "But they all seem to be chirping in perfect tune already. Maybe we'll ask Randy, Paula and Simon for a few suggestions."

If all goes well, the eaglets will be released into the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains when they're full grown at thirteen-weeks of age. The eagle conservation group has an Eagle Nest Cam on their website (www.eagles.org, ) where a Bald Eagle nesting pair can be watched on-line by the public. During 2008, the United States Mint (www.usmint.gov, ) is selling special commemorative eagle coins to help the organization "Build A Nest Egg" aiding future eagle care and recovery programs.
