FIELDS OF GREEN TEAM OPENS UP ITS RADIO MEDIA CAMPAIGN |

BURNABY, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Mar. 7 -/E-Wire/-- The Fields of Green Team, (http://www.fieldsofgreenteam.com) leader and former major league baseball player Darrell Evans booked the first radio interviews to promote environmental awareness via his fields of green team website. The first interview aired on March 5, 2008 on the radio station WDUN 550.

Darrell Evans was interviewed by Martha Zoller. Ms. Zoller talked to Darrell about the fields of green team website. Darrell explained that the sites purpose is to bring solutions to the public by way of introducing tips and other important information using the Fields of Green newsletter.

Darrell will also be interviewed by Bill and Joel on WDUN News Talk 550 radio http://wdun.com on Friday March 7 at 5:30 am PST and by Andy Evans on Sports Talk 1050 WTKA http://wtka.com/ radio on Monday March 10 at 6:20 am PST.

Darrell stresses how important it is for everyone to do their part in taking care of mother earth. The Fields of Green newsletter will be an important source for the public to obtain tips on how they can do their part to help the environment. Darrell believes that by combining interesting stories and tips about baseball, (told by baseball legends) and adding environmental tips will be a winning combination.

These first radio spots are the beginning of a comprehensive media campaign to bring about awareness using the www.fieldsofgreenteam.com website as the hub to bring about awareness about environmental issues.

Over the next few months Darrell and his team of ballplayers will be appearing on numerous radio, TV and in the print media to promote the fields of Green Team environmental concept.
