ENVIRON Opens Toronto Office |

TORONTO, ONTARIO, Nov. 14 -/E-Wire/--
Ronald E. Hutchens, President of ENVIRON International Corporation is pleased to announce the opening of the firm's Toronto office and the addition of key new staff: Ted Pollock, Managing Principal of ENVIRON EC Canada, Inc. and new Principals Dan Bunner and Tim Dickson.

According to Hutchens, "Our expanded capabilities will enable ENVIRON to provide a broad range of specialized environmental and risk management services to clients across Canada. The Toronto office will be an integral component of our network of more than 70 offices throughout North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia."

Ted Pollock, Ph.D., P.Eng. has more than 25 years of experience in decommissioning industrial sites, characterization and remediation of impacted soil and ground water, environmental site assessments, industrial wastewater treatment, treatment of leachate from hazardous waste landfills, evaluation of solid waste recycling facilities, and assistance in interaction with regulatory agencies and other key stakeholders.

Dan Bunner M.Sc., P.Geo. has more than 20 years of project management experience that includes Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, remedial planning, site-specific risk assessments, compliance audits, decommissioning programs, and hydrogeologic investigations. He is a certified Environmental Management System Lead Auditor and a Professional Geoscientist in Ontario, British Columbia, the Northwest Territories, and Nunavut.

Tim Dickson, B.Sc. has more than 17 years of experience assisting clients with the development and management of Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, developing follow-up site remediation programs in support of property transactions, and assessing environmental due diligence requirements. Tim specializes in the design and implementation of comprehensive site investigation and risk-based site restoration programs and has provided technical and strategic advice associated with the identification and effective management of environmental risk and liability issues associated with impacted sites across Canada.

An international consultancy, ENVIRON works with clients to assess and manage potential environmental, sustainability, and health issues associated with their activities and products, both locally and globally.
