ENVIRON's B2BWEEE-scheme receives formal Environment Agency approval |

ENVIRON is pleased to announce the receipt of the formal approval documents for its Producer Compliance Scheme from the Environment Agency on 30th January.

The UK WEEE Regulations require manufacturers and importers of electrical and electronic equipment to join an approved PCS by the 15th March 2007. The formal approval documents for ENVIRON's B2BWEEE-Scheme are published on www.b2bweee-scheme.com and the scheme is now open for membership.

The Scheme offers major benefits to its members in terms of service and flexibility. For Members who do not have existing WEEE collection and recycling arrangements, the Scheme can install a web-based WEEE system on the company's website. Members who already have collection and recycling arrangements can continue to use these, subject to a short audit of these arrangements by ENVIRON.
